Redwood City Friends of Literacy presents The Original Trivia BEE, supporting Project READ Redwood City. The Trivia BEE event is designed to promote literacy awareness and raise funds to support Project READ's mission of a literate community.

| Buzz Rules |
| Each team consists of three members with the Team Captain as the team spokesperson. |
| One point is given for each correct answer. |
| There are no penalties for wrong answers |
| Each new round starts at zero |
| The qualifying Round consists of 30 questions |
| The 15 Teams with the highest score will compete in the Semi-final Round of 15 Questions |
| The final Round for the top 5 teams will have a total of 7 questions |
| The game moves toward the fourth round, a "Sudden Death" tie-breaker only if there is a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place |
