The 30th Annual Trivia BEE
The 30th Annual Trivia BEE, held last Friday at the Cañada College campus, brought together 350 trivia buffs and Project READ supporters old and new. It was a fun-filled night of music, food and some fierce trivia competition to help raise literacy awareness in our community and funds to support Project READ’s literacy programs. STEAM & STORIES Family Story Hour
Last week's monthly Family Story Hour brought together over 75 children and families in a night of literacy and discovery. This month we focused our Story Hour around Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math (STEAM) learning, which included tinkering, art, music and more. A night of true creativity that our families could dive into together. Each family went home with self-selected books to build their home libraries, as well as our family book, "Animal Boogie."
