We had another great Story Hour last week. Seventy learners, families and friends attended May's Story Hour, where Children's musicians Cotten Candy Express performed for our families. Children and parents got up and danced and sang along with Lori & RJ from Cotten Candy Express.
All families were given the book, Big Sister, Little Sister as the Family Book of the month to take home and continue to build upon their home libraries. Six volunteers from Hands On Bay Area (HOBA) came to help students create crafts related to the theme of the evening, Mother's Day. And thanks to our community partner, Second Harvest Food Bank, families were able to go home with bags of fresh vegetables.
