Families and friends came together for our monthly Story Hour this week to celebrate the end of school and Father's Day, and to welcome the start of summer! Magic Dan, a Project READ favorite children's performer entertained our families with his magic tricks and sense of humor. Children and parents alike were invited up to take part in the magic.
Learners were able to self select books from our give away table to build their home libraries. Each family was given Big Rig as the monthly Family Book. After the magic, children took part in creating crafts related to Father's Day and spring and summer fun!
Volunteers from HOBA and Volunteer Match were on hand to help our little ones with their art. It was a magical evening for our families and friends.
