Project READ
A letter of thanks ...
TOGETHER, we’re making a DIFFERENCE. Don’t just take our word for it …

Each year as we enter the holiday season, we reach out to our supporters to remind you of milestones we have reached, and the lives we have changed because of the work we are doing together. Whether you are a tutor, a donor, or a literacy advocate, it is through our unified efforts that we are meeting the literacy needs of our community.
This year, we reached out to the heart and soul of Project READ, our learners and tutors of present and past--the adults and youth who truly know what it means to be a part of Project READ. During this season of giving, please enjoy sharing in the experiences and reflections of our learning community.
“I became a tutor because I wanted to start giving back to this world that has already given me so much. The best part about tutoring is that my students teach me more about life than I ever could about reading."
-Project READ Adult Tutor
“Project Read has taught me as both a learner and a tutor the importance in never doubting my ability and to continue striving for my dreams."
-Former Youth Learner & Youth Tutor (Student @ CSU East Bay)
There is no more meaningful way to unite our community in our mission of a more literate future than to support Project Read Redwood City. Please consider giving of your time as a volunteer or through your generous donations.
This holiday season, give the gift of reading. It will last a lifetime.
Redwood City Friends of Literacy, and all of us at Project READ Redwood City, wish you the best of the holiday season and a very happy and healthy new year!
Warmest Wishes,
The Project READ Staff & RCFOL Board
