Our Project READ families made some magical holiday memories last week during our annual Holiday Gift Making Workshop. We had over 130 children attend our events and over 70 parents/friends.
Helping make our family's holiday brighter was a long-time Project READ volunteer family who created and handed out holiday give away bags. It is a much anticipated holiday tradition for our Project READ kids.
Cotton Candy Express, children's musicians, entertained the families with an interactive performance including singing, dancing and some holiday cheer!
Volunteers were on hand to help students create holiday gifts for their families. Each family went home with a new family book and self selected books to build their home libraries.
Happy Holidays!
