It's official, Project STEAM, the pilot program created by Project READ and community partner the Junior League of Palo Alto-Mid Peninsula has successfully completed its first year this week. This STEAM-based program designed to give girls a space to explore interdisciplinary STEAM activities alongside female mentors has become a popular and engaging project. Participants received certificates and tutors received plants as part of the commencement ceremony. This year only marks the beginning for our newest program-- as the need and demand is high for Project STEAM and similar programming. Summer is here, but that won't stop our science-minded students from continuing to explore and create over break.
Thank you to our community partner, the Junior League of Palo Alto-Mid Peninsula for this amazing collaboration and their continued support of our programming. Looking forward to next year!
