New Books for A New School Year

Thanks to The Lisa Libraries, an amazing nonprofit that brings books to underserved communities, schools and libraries throughout the nation, our students will start the school year off with beautiful new books to read. Last week, The Lisa Libraries donated over 300 new books, valued at over $3,000 to Project READ to ensure all of our students were able to continue to build their home libraries.
Books in the home is a leading predictor of academic success, and many of our families would not be able to provide new reading materials to their children without the help of generous donations such as this.

We want to thank The Lisa Libraries for partnering with Project READ and helping to bring books into the homes of our families.
