Bringing Books Into Families' Homes

Bring Me A book Foundation and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority joined together in support of Project READ families to help build home libraries. Books in the home is a leading predictor of academic success. Helping our families maintain books in their homes is one of our organizations leading goals. To that end, we distribute over 3,000 free books to our families each year, and partner with amazing organizations like Bring Me A book Foundation and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority to help us meet that goal. Volunteers from these organizations built beautiful bookcases to give to Project READ children. In addition to building these generous gifts, they supplied art materials for the children to decorate the bookcases, making the experience even more memorable.

Students filled their new bookcases with brand new books donated from Bring Me A Book Foundation, whose goal is to provide high quality books and literacy to underserved children.

Thank you to both Bring Me A book Foundation and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority for dedicating your time and resources to Project READ families!
