Every once in a while you meet someone whose generosity can’t be contained to just one day. Such is the case for the anonymous tutor and donor who just provided Thanksgiving for the learners and families of Project READ in Redwood City. Last week this benefactor provided turkeys, hams, and many of the sides for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. And yesterday families came back for pies to complete the celebration! This bounty was complemented by the beautiful, fresh produce and everyday staples of rice, milk, eggs and beans, provided by Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. Over 100 families, including more than 420 individuals, will have much to celebrate this Thanksgiving!
Thank you to all of our tutors, families and supporters.
